Data protection principles


This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect from users and visitors to https://7be.io and related research and review services (the "Services"). By using the Services or otherwise agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure and other treatment of your information as described below.


If you have any concerns about providing information to us or displaying it on the Services or otherwise using it in any way permitted by this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Services.

1. Information we collect.

Information provided by you

Information about you. We collect information about you when you participate in our research process and use the Services in a variety of ways:

  • When you create an account, you provide us with information such as your name and email address, either directly or through your LinkedIn account. We may also ask for your credit card or other banking information if you purchase certain 7BE Services. You may provide additional information to improve your profile, such as your location, industry, bio, photo, and phone number. If you believe that someone has created an unauthorized account with your image or likeness, you can request that it be removed by contacting us.
  • In the process of submitting reviews, we will collect your name, company name, phone number, and email address for our records, but this information will not be made available to the public.
  • When posting reviews, you will have the option to either remain anonymous (for example, only your general job title, company description, industry, company size, and location will be included with the review) or attribute your comments with details such as your name, title company, project details and your photo. If you choose to attribute your feedback, you agree that we may publicly display such information in connection with your feedback through the Services.
  • When you complete a survey, your responses remain anonymous and we only display the results along with the general title of job title, department, industry, company size, and location.
  • When you submit a project request form or consultation form, it is important to be as specific as possible and include as much relevant information as possible. The more information you provide; the more suitable the recommended service providers will be for your project. We will need, at a minimum, your name, company name, project details, email contact information, and your preferred method of contacting you. You must obtain the consent of others before providing 7BE with their information. The information you provide about others is used only in the background check and analysis process.

Information from third parties

We may collect, process and store your user ID associated with any social media account (such as your LinkedIn account) that you use to log into the Services, connect to the Services or use the Services. When you sign in to your account using your social media account information or otherwise connect to your social media account using the Services, you consent to the collection, storage and use by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy of information that you choose to provide us through the social network interface. This may include, without limitation, any information that you have made public in connection with your social media account, information that the social media service shares with us, or information that is disclosed as being provided during the registration process. Automatically collected information

3. How we share information.

  • Any information included in your user profile and any content you post on 7BE (such as your reviews) may be visible to other people. When you post a review, your content, including your name as the reviewer (if the review is not anonymous), may also appear in search engine results.

Disclosure of Do Not Track Information

However, we do not recognize or respond to browser-initiated DNT signals as the Internet industry is still working on defining what DNT stands for, how to comply with DNT, and how to create a common approach to responding to DNT.

5. Access, correction and deletion of information.

You have the right to (1) access, change, correct or delete certain aspects of your user profile information and (2) close your user account. You may also contact us regarding any account information that is not on your profile or is readily available to you. If you close your account, your information may be removed or unpublished from the Services for a reasonable period of time.


Once you have submitted a review and it has been approved for publication, it cannot be edited or deleted. You will have the option to submit an edit that will appear below your original post and revise your star rating.


Please note that information that others have copied may remain visible and you may not be able to access, correct or delete any information about you that others have copied or exported from 7BE as this information may not be under our control. Your information may appear in search engine results until the search engine updates its cache.

Saving data

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as long as it is necessary to provide services to you, or because we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so. We also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We keep your information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which we collected it. If we do not have an ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if possible (for example, your personal information is kept for backup), store your personal information securely and isolate it from any further processing until deletion/removal becomes possible.
