Review, Ranking and Paid Placement Policy

This Policy explains how reviews, directory rankings, recommendations, paid visibility, and verification labels work on 7BE. It is incorporated into the 7BE Terms of Service and Agency Provider Agreement.

Our core rule is simple: payment may purchase clearly disclosed visibility or marketplace functionality, but it never purchases a positive review, favorable Verification result, performance score, or false statement of qualification.

1. Reviews

Reviews must come from a person with a genuine, relevant experience and must reflect that person’s honest opinion. A reviewer must disclose a material relationship or incentive that a reasonable reader would consider relevant.

Users must not:

• create, buy, sell, exchange, or coordinate fake reviews;
• review themselves, their employer, an affiliated business, or a competitor without disclosure and 7BE approval;
• condition a benefit on positive sentiment or removal of truthful criticism;
• offer an incentive available only for a positive or five-star review;
• ask only satisfied customers for public reviews in a way that materially distorts the record;
• threaten, harass, or retaliate against a reviewer; or
• use AI to fabricate an experience or material factual claim.

A neutral incentive may be permitted only if it is offered regardless of sentiment, is not excessive, and is clearly disclosed with the review.

2. Review Verification and Moderation

7BE may request evidence of a business relationship or Project, such as an order reference, business email, invoice, or other proportionate proof. Verification of experience does not mean 7BE endorses the opinion.

We may reject, label, limit, or remove content that is fake, unlawful, irrelevant, duplicated, confidential, abusive, promotional, privacy-invasive, manipulated, or unsupported as a factual accusation. We do not remove a review merely because it is negative or because a paying User objects.

Where practical, we distinguish between opinion and factual assertions, permit correction, and preserve evidence. A User may report a review through the available control or at integrity@7be.io.

3. Review Display

Review displays may consider recency, relevance, reliability signals, Project verification, language, completeness, and usefulness. We may show an aggregate score, distribution, count, source, date, and whether an experience was verified or incentivized.

We do not secretly suppress legitimate negative reviews to improve a paying Agency’s appearance. Reviews under documented fraud or policy review may be temporarily withheld and restored if validated.

4. Organic Ranking

Organic directory and recommendation ranking may consider:

• fit with the Buyer’s stated category, industry, budget, location, language, timing, and requirements;
• profile completeness, accuracy, availability, and responsiveness;
• relevant portfolio and supported experience;
• verified Project outcomes and marketplace conduct;
• review quality, recency, volume, reliability, and distribution;
• risk, fraud, policy, and security signals;
• content quality, freshness, and usefulness; and
• reasonable diversity and exploration intended to avoid showing an unnecessarily narrow result set.

Factors and weights may vary by query, market, and feature. 7BE does not guarantee a position, traffic, opportunity volume, or revenue. We may update ranking systems to improve relevance, integrity, and compliance.

5. Paid Placement

Some plans or products may provide top placement, featured placement, sponsored distribution, or priority access. A result materially influenced by payment will be labeled with a clear term such as Sponsored, Featured, Promoted, or Paid placement near the result.

Paid placement may affect where or when an eligible Agency appears. It does not:

• change the content or score of a review;
• conceal a substantiated negative review;
• change a Verification result;
• create a credential the Agency has not earned;
• override safety, fraud, sanctions, quality, or relevance requirements; or
• guarantee selection, a Project, or a business outcome.

Pricing pages and checkout will describe the paid visibility feature with reasonable specificity. Users may not describe paid placement as an independent endorsement.

6. Recommendations and Matching

Automated systems may suggest Agencies, opportunities, or content. Suggestions are aids, not professional advice or guarantees. Buyers remain responsible for due diligence, and Agencies remain responsible for proposal accuracy.

7BE may use profile, brief, activity, and marketplace-integrity information for matching. Private Customer Data is not used for unrelated advertising or to train a general-purpose shared model.

7. Badges and Labels

Labels have limited meanings displayed on the Services. For example:

• Identity verified means specified identity or business evidence was checked at a stated time;
• Project verified means 7BE recorded a Pass for the stated Project criteria;
• Claimed profile means an authorized representative controls the profile; and
• Sponsored or Featured means payment influenced placement.

No label is a general legal, security, financial, or quality guarantee. 7BE may expire or remove a label if evidence becomes outdated, inaccurate, revoked, or misleading.

8. Conflicts and 7BE Content

7BE personnel and contractors involved in review moderation or Verification must disclose material conflicts. A conflicted person must not make the final decision unless the conflict is disclosed and appropriately managed.

Editorial content, partner content, and advertising should be distinguishable. Material compensation or commercial relationships are disclosed where required.

9. Appeals

An affected User may appeal a review, ranking-integrity, badge, or placement decision by emailing integrity@7be.io within 30 days. The appeal should identify the decision, reason, and supporting evidence.

A reviewer not materially involved in the original decision will assess the appeal where practicable. We will provide a result or status update within a reasonable period. Repetitive appeals without new information may be closed.

10. Enforcement and Changes

Violations may result in labels, content removal, loss of ranking eligibility, refund of an incentive, account restriction, suspension, or termination. Serious fraud may be referred to payment providers or authorities.

We may update this Policy and will post the new effective date. Material changes to paid placement or review treatment will receive reasonable notice where required.
