Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all access to and use of 7BE’s Services, including profiles, briefs, proposals, messages, Projects, Deliverables, integrations, and Verification. It is incorporated into the 7BE Terms of Service.

You may not use the Services, directly or indirectly, to engage in, enable, promote, or conceal the activities below.

1. Illegal, Harmful, or Deceptive Conduct

You may not:

• violate law, court order, sanctions, export controls, or another person’s legal rights;
• facilitate fraud, theft, bribery, corruption, money laundering, tax evasion, or deceptive business practices;
• impersonate a person or organization, falsify credentials, fabricate evidence, or materially misrepresent an AI system or outcome;
• harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, or discriminate unlawfully;
• facilitate human trafficking, sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that sexualizes minors;
• promote or facilitate suicide, self-harm, or imminent physical harm; or
• create deceptive deepfakes, forged identities, or synthetic media intended to defraud or materially mislead without appropriate disclosure.

2. Security Abuse

You may not:

• introduce malware, ransomware, backdoors, credential stealers, destructive code, or covert cryptomining;
• access, test, scan, probe, or exploit systems without authorization;
• interfere with availability, bypass authentication or rate limits, evade monitoring, or disrupt another User;
• expose credentials, private keys, tokens, vulnerabilities, or confidential data in public fields;
• use compromised accounts or unlawfully obtained data; or
• withhold a known material vulnerability in a Deliverable or falsify security evidence.

Good-faith security research is allowed only under 7BE’s written vulnerability-disclosure rules and the system owner’s authorization.

3. Privacy and Data Misuse

You may not:

• collect, disclose, sell, scrape, enrich, or use personal data without a lawful purpose and required notice or permission;
• submit production, sensitive, biometric, health, financial, precise-location, children’s, or government-identifier data unless expressly authorized and protected;
• use Customer Data for unrelated marketing, profiling, portfolio content, or general model training;
• re-identify de-identified data or defeat privacy controls;
• conduct unlawful surveillance, face recognition, emotion inference, or sensitive-trait inference; or
• upload data obtained through a breach, credential theft, unlawful broker, or violation of a source’s enforceable restrictions.

4. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

You may not infringe or misappropriate copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, publicity, privacy, database, or contractual rights. You must have permission for content, datasets, code, models, logos, testimonials, and case studies you submit.

You may not disclose another party’s confidential information or use it outside the authorized proposal or Project.

5. Marketplace and Communications Abuse

You may not:

• send spam, phishing, unsolicited bulk messages, or unlawful marketing;
• scrape or harvest profiles, briefs, reviews, contact information, or marketplace data without written permission;
• submit fake, collusive, duplicate, or placeholder proposals;
• manipulate reviews, rankings, clicks, traffic, badges, referrals, or Verification;
• create multiple accounts to evade limits, enforcement, fees, or sanctions;
• redirect a 7BE-introduced relationship to avoid disclosed platform protections or fees in violation of an applicable agreement; or
• use buyer or agency contact information for unrelated solicitation.

6. High-Risk and Regulated AI Uses

The following require 7BE’s prior written approval, a documented risk assessment, qualified human oversight, and any required Project addendum:

• decisions affecting employment, housing, education, credit, insurance, essential services, legal rights, or access to public benefits;
• diagnosis, treatment, medical-device functions, or emergency response;
• legal, tax, investment, or financial decisions presented as a substitute for qualified professional judgment;
• biometric identification, critical infrastructure, public safety, law enforcement, or migration decisions;
• systems involving minors or vulnerable individuals; and
• regulated records or decisions subject to sector-specific audit, validation, explainability, residency, or retention requirements.

7BE may decline a Project even if the proposed use is lawful.

7. Prohibited AI and Automation Uses

You may not use the Services to create or deploy:

• unlawful discriminatory scoring or decisions;
• social scoring by a public authority or similarly abusive actor;
• manipulative or subliminal techniques likely to cause material harm;
• indiscriminate biometric scraping or unlawful facial-recognition databases;
• autonomous weapons targeting or systems designed to facilitate mass harm;
• malware generation, credential theft, or automated exploitation;
• fabricated evidence intended for a court, regulator, election, payment provider, or identity process; or
• a system represented as human where disclosure is required to prevent material deception.

8. Regulated Goods and Services

You may not use 7BE to facilitate illegal weapons, controlled substances, trafficking, counterfeit goods, unlicensed gambling, sanctions evasion, or another restricted transaction. Projects involving lawful but regulated goods or services require prior written approval and appropriate controls.

9. Technical Restrictions

Unless 7BE authorizes otherwise, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, extract source code, frame, mirror, resell, sublicense, benchmark for a competing publication, or use automated means to access the Services beyond documented interfaces and reasonable rates, except where law prohibits restriction.

You may not use 7BE content or marketplace data to train a competing model, directory, or database without written permission.

10. Enforcement

7BE may investigate suspected violations; preserve evidence; remove or restrict content; block transactions; pause Verification or payment instructions; limit visibility; suspend or terminate accounts; notify affected parties; and report conduct where legally required or reasonably necessary to prevent harm.

Where practicable and safe, we will give notice and an opportunity to respond or cure. Immediate action may be taken for security, fraud, sanctions, child safety, unlawful content, data exposure, or imminent harm.

We consider context, intent, severity, repetition, remediation, and risk. Enforcement under this AUP does not limit contractual or legal remedies.

11. Reporting and Appeals

Report abuse to abuse@7be.io and security issues to security@7be.io. Include the relevant URL, account, Project, evidence, and a safe way to contact you. Do not include unnecessary sensitive data.

An affected User may appeal by replying to the enforcement notice within 30 days with specific grounds and evidence. We will use a reviewer not materially involved in the original decision where practicable.

Emergency threats should be reported to local emergency services first.

12. Changes

We may update this AUP as law, risks, and Services change. Material changes will receive reasonable notice where required.
