Fix what keeps AI from picking you
Assistants recommend products they can read, understand and trust. 7BE checks your store the way they read it and tells you what to change first.
Eight checks, one score out of 100
The free scan runs these checks on your public pages. Each one maps to something the assistants use when they choose a product.
| Check | Points | What the scan looks at | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI assistants may read the store | 20 pts | Your robots.txt lets the crawlers of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI in. | An assistant that is shut out cannot read your pages. It can only repeat what other sites say about you. |
| Product pages carry structured data | 15 pts | A product page carries Product structured data from schema.org. | It hands the assistant the facts about a product in a form it does not have to guess from the layout. |
| Products show reviews AI can read | 20 pts | A review app on the product page, or rating data in its structured data. | Assistants often explain a pick with its rating and the number of buyers behind it. |
| Descriptions say what each product is for | 15 pts | Most products have a full description, more than a line or two. | Shoppers ask for a use: sheets for hot sleepers, shoes for a first marathon. A description that names the use can match the question. |
| Products are categorised | 10 pts | Most products have a product type or category. | Categories tell the assistant which questions a product can answer. |
| Products have several images | 5 pts | Most products have three or more images. | Shopping answers show products as cards with pictures. More images give them more to show. |
| Returns and shipping policies are published | 10 pts | Your refund and shipping policy pages exist and carry real text. | Shoppers ask about returns and delivery. The answer can only repeat what your policy pages say. |
| llms.txt describes the store | 5 pts | A plain-text llms.txt file at the root of your site. | A short summary of your store written for AI. It is a newer convention that not every assistant reads, so it counts for less. |
A check we cannot run on your store is left out of the score.
What to change, most important first
The readiness check covers your store. The fix list goes further: it compares your pages with the products the assistants picked, and with the sites they cited.

The fixes that decide the shelf

Materials, sizes, weights, care, compatibility. Concrete facts are what answers repeat.

Clear policies
Published pages for returns and shipping, linked from your products.

Questions
Will these fixes make AI recommend my products?
No one can promise that. The fixes remove what keeps an assistant from reading and trusting your pages, and weekly tracking shows whether the answers moved.
What does the free scan give me?
Your AI-readiness score out of 100, the 8 checks with what passed and what failed, and the first fixes to make. No signup, no install.
Does 7BE change my store?
The free scan only reads public pages. The first version of the WooCommerce plugin only reads too. Applying fixes from your store admin is part of the 7BE app, in early access.
How is the score worked out?
Each check carries points, 100 in all. A check we cannot run on your store, for example when a page does not load, is left out of the score.
What is llms.txt?
A plain-text file at the root of your site that tells AI assistants what your store sells and where the key pages are. Not every assistant reads it yet, so it carries 5 of the 100 points.
Is a high score the same as being recommended?
No. The score measures how easy your store is for AI to read. Shelf share measures how often the answers name you. A good score helps you compete for the spot.
